Fire presents the biggest threat to records. Our fire control strategy is driven by three underlying principles:
- Prevention of any potential source of fire
- Early detection
- Quick and effective suppression

Most fires are caused by either cigarettes or overloaded electrical wiring. Therefore, in addition to enforcing a strict smoking ban throughout the facility, electrical wiring is kept to the absolute minimum to prevent any potential fire hazard.

Smoke detectors are fitted throughout the facility and connected to an alarm system to give an alert in the early stage of a fire breakout.

For fire suppression, it is equally important to take all possible measures to protect your records. For that reason, we use a combination of manual and automatic fire extinguishers, in addition to a high pressure water fire fighting system in order to provide the most effective mechanism.
